Digital Women is an Iowa State University student organization dedicated to encouraging, supporting, and retaining women in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, MIS, Data Science, Statistics, and Math.
We want to help you succeed by providing opportunities for networking, career development, and much-needed fun with other like-minded women in technical majors.
Digital Women meets every Thursday at 6:30 p.m. in Coover 3043.
Joining Digital Women is easy! All you need to do is sign up on the Student Organizations website and start attending meetings!

Mallory Flynn

President

Mallory is a Junior majoring in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Music Technology. In her free time, she likes to listen to music, hanging out with friends, and watching sitcoms. She loves being involved in Digital Women because the friends she has made and the amazing opportunities that are provided.

Saby Ramos

Vice President

Saby is a Sophomore majoring in Software Engineering with a minor in Cybersecurity Engineering. She is from Storm Lake, Iowa. In her free time, she loves to cook (especially for family and friends), read, and listen to music or podcasts. Her favorite part about Digital Women is the opportunity to meet other women in technology and be apart of an incredible community.

Sandee Madan

Secretary

Sandee is a Computer Engineering student at Iowa State University and currently serves as the Secretary for Digital Women. She is passionate about technology, coding, and design. Outside of academics, her hobbies keep her balanced and inspired. She enjoys building with Lego, and she has a fascination with snakes, appreciating their unique place in nature and culture. Sandee is dedicated to building inclusive spaces for women in tech and is excited to help Digital Women continue to grow.

Kaitlyn Hoyme

Kaitlyn is a senior majoring in Computer Science and minoring in Data Science. She is from Woodbury, Minnesota. In her free time, she loves spending time with friends, competitive activities like sports and video games (which recently has consisted of a LOT of pickleball), and enjoying music. What she loves most about being a part of Digital Women is the incredible community of people she has met.

I am Claire Lewis, a junior in Computer Engineering. I am from Council Bluffs, Ia. My favorite color is purple, and I enjoy crochet in my free time.

Malak Mansour

Grace Hopper Chair

Malak is a junior majoring in Software Engineering with a minor in Cybersecurity Engineering. She is originally from Cairo, Egypt. In Summer 2025, she interned at Rivian Volkswagen Group Technologies, a joint venture between Rivian and Volkswagen, in their Palo Alto, California office as a Software Engineering Intern in Cybersecurity, where she worked on their Product Security Infrastructure Team. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and playing video games. She enjoys Digital Women for the opportunity to meet amazing new women in tech and networking. A fun fact about her is that she is bilingual.

Hailey is a junior double-majoring in Computer Science and Technical Communication with minors in Data Science and Music. She spends her free time listening to music, crafting, playing instruments, and watching movies. Her favorite part about Digital Women is connecting with other women in technology and learning more about the field!
